I'd rather the Bulls kept their current core instead of sending some of it off to get one of the best 2 guards of all-time who is a bad teammate and generally has a bad attitude towards his job.

Even if the Bulls aren't serious title contenders for another 2-3 years if they don't make this trade, I think the prospect of being REALLY good for a REALLY long time (like 5-8 years) is better than trading all of our good and average young players for a superstar and a legit chance to win in the next 1-2 years.

Paxson is reluctant to give up the core, and I hope he ends up keeping everyone. IMO the Bulls need a big bodied scorer, not a flashy 2 guard. Let's give Noah/Gray/Thomas 2-3 years to see what they can do, they are all 20-22!!!!!!!!!!

Back to the trade. You guys think Kobe would be a better fit than KG, Elton, Marion or Gasol? Man I'd love to be in a real or fantasy league with you.

[/ QUOTE ]

Where the hell are you pulling this crap from? I've already mentioned IN THIS THREAD that I think the Bulls were too conservative in the past with respect to going for Gasol and KG, who filled actual needs rather than improved them at a position they're already good at. And I haven't seen anyone else saying anything like what you've quoted above.

Marion's the only one that's close.

Floyd, are you Thabo' agent?

I've seen A LOT of bulls games lately and quite frankly he's looked like [censored] the whole way through.

[/ QUOTE ]

Yes.

Remember his smothering defense on Wade last year? What games are you talking about? Pre-season?

23 is too old?

...

How can you close the book on him?

Stop making strawmans out of what people say if you want to be taken seriously.

Kidcolin said this-

He might turn out to be a league average 2guard, and maybe slightly above that. He's already 23. He's not some 18 year old raw talent who is destined to blossom physically.

LOL. He might become average but we haven't closed the book on him.

A 23-year-old who was an offensive zero in his rookie year does not have that bright a future. He's a role-player at best. His UPSIDE is defensive stopper. Bruce Bowen. Ime Udoka. OMG PLZ DO NOT INCLUDE HIM IN ANY TRADES NOW.

I love how in other sports people use lack of rings as a way to measure selfishness, yet with Kobe they just ignore it.
