Fine, I'll shut-up. This is becoming a waste of time. I've said my peace and you guys want to stone the guy. If nobody wants to join me in petitioning a different and lessor punishment for Zee then its going to be fruitless. I just hope for your sake that you never get in a similar situation.

Its simple party should take zee and jj's money and spend it toward improving their security/get more people to catch cheaters. It makes me mad to see party making hundreds of millions of dollars and simply not fixing a simple glitch that allows people to cheat on their site. Maybe people should boycoot the site till they fix these and make it really secue. The people should be equally mad at party poker for simply allowing people to press the icon really fast and sign in multiple acounts at once.

wtf.

this has nothing to do with ansky's post.

his point is that there's already a 3000 post thread about it. what makes your point so much more important than the hundreds of people that have contained their opinions in that one thread?

Think about what you are saying and put yourself in this guy's shoes. Its not like he cheated his way to wealth in this game. He's made that $$ via hard work and doesn't deserve to be stripped of his livlihood for his youthful indecision.

OK, this is just too much fun...

You’ve stressed before that the punishment should fit the crime, when you join an online site you sign off on their terms and condition, that have lots of fine print.

Even if it does not specifically spell a case like this out I’m sure the generic unviseral clause of “You are screwed and we are not” often written as “all decisions of company X are final” So get over it….

stripped of his livlihood for his youthful indecision

Let me cry a river..
Better yet let me give him his living back.
Get to Vegas and find a game, if you’ve got the goods money is flowing like a river.

I’ll keep my day job…..

Indiana,

To me, there are 3 clear reasons why theres no way this punishment is too harsh:

1) He has plenty of money left that he got out of poker sites. I'm 100% positive 105,000 was not his entire bankroll.

2) He doesn't even feel he didnt anything wrong and his "statement" is proof of this

3) No doubt in my mind that it won't be long before he's back on the online sites cheating again. He will just use a different ip/name this time though unfortunately.

Umm, the witches and wood analogy was yours.

I'm not saying that ZeeJustin is a murderer, in case you were confused.

[/ QUOTE ]

I thought it was obvious the witches thing was a joke. I'll make sure to add several winking faces after obvious jokes in the future to avoid confusion.

Of course you aren't saying he is a murderer. If you did it wouldn't be an analogy. I am just saying it is a horrible analogy designed to add hyperbole into a discussion that already has quite enough of that. His $137k score is as kosher as any you have had. It may annoy you, but it doesn't change the facts.

He won $137k in a Stars tourney he entered with only one account. I'm all for burning witches, but we should make sure they are indeed made of wood first.

[/ QUOTE ]

Then we should see if they weigh as much as a duck.
