John Kruk never batted against Randy Johnson during a regulation game.
John Kruk hit more homers off of Dwight Gooden than any other player he faced. Greg Maddux has served up Barry Bonds home runs EIGHT times, but there is one player who has more homers against Maddux than anyone else.... Luis Gonzales, with 10. |

Brian Dawkins is the only player in NFL history to record an interception, a sack, a fumble recovery and a touchdown reception in the same game (against Houston, 2002).

Wikipedia lists Reggie at 285. [/ QUOTE ] Early in his career with the Eagles, sure. But I'm sure you'd realize that weight can fluctuate over the course of a 15-year career, and that Reggie didn't weigh a consistent 285lbs year in, year out. But both the Packers and Panthers officially listed him at 300. And before his love affair with Favre hit full swing, how can anyone not remember Madden slobbering all over Reggie countless times talking about how agile he was for a 300 pounder. |

It's also not all that surprising given that Mario retired so long before the end of his best playing days. [/ QUOTE ] Of course, the same logic explains the Osgood/Dryden career wins stats. And the fact that Bobby Orr ranks 9th in career points by a defenseman. In fact, 10 more points by Scott Stevens and 20 more by Brad Park and Orr wouldn't be in the top 10. Also, I made a calculator slip on Mario's goals per game. It should be 0.754 (690 goals/915 games). A little NHL hockey trivia I found: As of the end of the 2006-7 season, based on country of birth, Olaf Kolzig is the only player in NHL history to lead his country in career NHL points (13 assists) and goaltender wins (276) for South Africa. Kolzig is also the All-time career assist leader for an African born player, barely losing out in total points to Chris Nielsen from Tanzania who scored 6 goals and 8 assists in 54 NHL games. |

In 6 pages of this thread not one post about NHL play or statistics, I believe only that Tom Glavine was drafted by the Kings. [/ QUOTE ] 6 pages? You know you can change that to make it more posts per page right? |
