Everyone just download this prog if u think your infected http://www.download.com/SnoopFree-Pr...ml?tag=lst-0-1 If you log onto any keylogging progs(pokerstars, full tilt, aim,msn etc) it will prompt you with files that are trying to track your login information. If the file looks suspicious you can just block it until the desired file(s) are gone. [/ QUOTE ] ty, rebooting. |

One thing that noted in the other thread before it went was that the person in question seemed to have an eMando account - can't remember the name though.
eMando itself is a legitimate programme (found at emando.net) and they might be interested to know someone is using them (possibly) to help launch a phishing attack. They may have extra info that may aid any authorities (and FTP) in their investigations. ..or maybe not ...but I thought it was worth mentioning. (edit: just seen in the post above that the account name could be Morti) |

Number, I clicked that same file under diff name when I got into this prob a week ago. Its just some xml or java that sends the required login info to that website(I think). Just refer to my earlier post, look for any File named svchost or similiar in your Task Manager -> Processes. Once you find the suspicious files their, close them. Then go to your program files/ and you should be able to delete the recently created folder svchost(which has the trojan in it).
Empty your recycle bin, then you should be clean! |
