So I've been reading this forum in preparation for my vegas trip.

I think I've concluded that online poker is a lot more fun than live poker. Somebody tell me otherwise before I cancel my trip. Haha.

Online poker is awful. I had more fun losing 100 bets playing 20/40 over like 15 hours than I do in most of my winning sessions online, and I was miserable yesterday when I was losing.

The only thing online is good for is making you a lot less likely to tilt and a much better player. As for "fun" it's live and not even close for me.

30k in hundrees is hard to fit in a couple pants pockets without some odd looking bulges.

I'd try to take less if possible and just get a loan from a 2+2er you trust if you run short.

I second your opinion on online poker. I lose $2k in a live 20 and I go eat a nice meal and see what's on the tube. I play for 3 hours and win $400 online, I want to kill myself.

I will certainly be optimistic on my trip but I haven't enjoyed live poker since before the last time I went to Vegas.

i'm headed back to vegas tomorrow morning for $3k Limit event. I will also be seen donkin' around the rio 20/40 to 50-100 and the bellagio 30 and 60 games.

I heard the results about 2 weeks ago, but can anyone give me a current update on how the mid-limit cash games in Vegas are right now?

In the range of 15/30, 20/40, and 30/60, is my best bet still Bellagio, or would I be better off at Rio or Wynn (or Venetian?) I'm heading out there July 5.

Bellagio, Rio, or Mirage at night.

I was there for 5 days last week. Bellagio 15 was always good. 30 was hit or miss, even on sat night. Bellagio 60 game was insanely good, but HUGE variance.
Rio 20 game was OMG good and the Mirage 20 game was really good too.
