KB4Z and Kyro,
I've talked to Edge about it, and if you two are willing, how would you feel about a little friendly avatar bet between the four of us to last through the Pro Bowl. We'll take the Colts you guys get the Pats (Obv) straight up.

You get the right to select/create the other guys' avatar and loc.

Any thing I've forgot to cover, as this is my virgin run in Av betting?

Cody

I think I'm doing an avatar bet with lastchance (MORE LIKE NOCHANCE HAHAHAH) so i'll have to pass. (LIKE TOM BRADY PASSING FOR A TOUCHDOWN!)

Colts Games against Playoff Teams:

@NYG-W 26-21
@NYJ-W 31-28
@NE-W 27-20
@Dal- L14-21
Phi- W 45-21

[/ QUOTE ]

You can't be serious. 3 of those "playoff" teams were NFC teams. Of course the Colts beat them. They were a better team, like the Pats.

[ QUOTE ]

They are 2-2 against playoff teams this season.

@NYJ-W 24-17
Indy-L 14-17
Chicago-W 17-13
NYG-L 14-17

[/ QUOTE ]

I must have missed the Giants game. What week was that?

Honestly, are you actually trying to compare the two teams based on who they played?

It should be NYJ. How else am I supposed to compare the two teams. Over the length of the season, I'm pretty sure the Colts had the same record against a harder schedule. They also beat the Pats on the road. So how is the 17 week schedule more indicative of proving that the Pats are the better team as others are bringing up. Yes over the 17 week season, the Pats D was definitely better than the Colts D. The Colts O was better and definitely the most efficient O in the league.

The only facts that it shows they performed well to top competition. The Colts scoring differential in comparison to some of the other top tier teams is pretty small but they had one of the tougher regular season schedules in the league. Their division had to play the NFC East which had 3 playoff teams while the AFC East got to play the NFC NOrth which had 1 playoff team and 1 "decent" team in GNB. Additionally, the Colts again for some reason had to go on the road to playoff NE, and they beat them.

That's what you get for finishing first in the divison. I think next year the Colts have @Ravens(1st place AFC North), and vs NE(1st place AFC East), along with NFC South, AFC West, and division.

seriously?

I'm not arguing the Colts didn't have a better regular season. They did. But there are ways to determine who the better team is than the way you're using.

Blah blah blah. And the Pats had to go to Cinci and Jax where they won both handily. NE sucked at Gillette this year. I fail to see any point trying to be made.

I think they've had to play NE 3 times in a row in Foxboro during the regular season.

In 2003 they played in the RCA Dome, Pats win 38-34.
In 2004 they played @ NE 24-27 Loss.
In 2005 they played @ NE 40-21 Win.
In 2006 they played @ NE 27-20 Win.

Someone posted why this happened, I can't remember the right reasoning.

Using the regular season to try and compare these two teams is pretty useless. The Pats offensively are a much better team now than they were earlier when Brady was trying to get on the same page with his new WR's. And Indy lately in the playoffs anyway has shown signs of a much improved defense.

Should be a helluva game.

One more thing...

Pats SoS: 121/226
Colts SoS: 121/226

The Colts had a marginally more difficult NFC schedule. The Pats had a marginally more difficult division schedule.
