maybe the linesman thought that the guy who was fouled touched it on the way through(he didnt). otherwise that was a horrid, horrid call. it should have either been goal for atletico since it def wasnt offside, and if it was offside, call the ridiculously blatant foul and give the pk..

Yeah, horrible call. The refs are highly biased toward Real Madrid and Barça so this isn't all that surprising.

Agreed. Bernardino Gonzalez Vazquez is a horrible referee. Even Sevilla FC radio, they said he was unjustly sent off. I wonder if there was more going on (maybe he said something terrible or something) because while there was clearly a foul it didn't even warrant a yellow and shouldn't have been called due to advantage.

Either way Barcelona were up 0-1, up 11 men to 10, with Ronaldinho on the penalty spot and Sevilla came back to go ahead 2-1 before the first Barcelona player was sent off. Pretty amazing performance by Sevilla. Daniel Alves was an absolute beast in this game and showed why he's the best right wing back in the world.

Barcelona have issues defensively as well as shown today and in the first leg with Liverpool. They have a fair enough chance to advance because they can put goals up but it's going to be tough obviously with the scoreline and how exposed they will be to counterattacks.

Nice first half in Barça - Real Madrid. 2-2 with Barça down to ten men just before the half. Real Madrid had the lead twice.

Anyone else think Puyol looks absolutely ridiculous? Someone tell him Hair Bands died in the early 90's.
