I have as many winning stories as the beats, it is poker after all, by the way they are not bad beats, going all in with a draw and TP good kick is not a bad beat, it is a beat, losing 4 of a kind to a straight flush is a bad beat, making the boat and watching it go down to Royal Flush, thats a bad beat, all the others is just a beat, plain and simple.

I would like very much for you to explain what advantages one hand has over another one, if all hands were not 50 50 we would just wait for pocket aces. You can make a boat just as easily with 57os as you can ak, AA will lose to 27os, the flop determines who stands where so how is everyone not almost even before the flop?

Ive only been playing poker for about 3-4 months and even I know this is complete bollocks!

The other day I went all-in with AK and lost to AQ.
Later, some guy caught a runner-runner flush with T5s to bust my trip Aces.

Over a large sample size, the good and bad streaks average out and are not significant in and of themselves,

There's the key right there. I guess you forgot that you typed that particular tidbit into your asinine post.

how do people who genuinely believe that AK = 57o pre-flop manage to register on this site? if you genuinely believe that, why would you even believe that it is possible to play poker as a long-term winner?

like, for [censored]'s sake, deal that hand out for yourself with a deck of cards at home a few hundred times and record the results.

i don't believe you'll get it 50/50.
