Default Re: The Hand Converter Thread.

Not sure what I'm doing wrong. Never had a problem using the converter before tonight. For whatever reason, the hands are not being converted correctly. Below is what happened when I converted a hand recently. One thing I did do was condense my databases in PT, and there was a software update on Party today before I logged into Party. Any hand I played today is being converted incorrectly, leaving stuff out and the like. I have tried a few hands from last week and they were converted perfectly. Not sure what is going wrong. Any help would be appreciated. Again, I'm copying the hand histories right out of PT like I have always done, but for whatever reason the hands are converted incompletely.

Party Poker (9 handed) converter

Button folds.

Turn: 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players)
.

River: Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players)
UTG checks, Hero checks.

I would have if I wasn't raised and reraised on every street. But that isn't the point, the problem is the converter is cutting out all the action and I don't know why. Thanks for the advice though

Same problem here, the stacks are left out and most action is lost, what is going on?

The thing is, I've seen others posting converted hands that are fine, so I wasn't sure if I was doing something wrong, or if there was a problem with my hand histories or something. I have no problem converting hands prior to yesterday, which I find odd.

Guys, I am not working on the converter any more. The code is publicly available at:

http://sourceforge.net/projects/handconverter/

Knock yourselves out.

Ah, thanks. I had looked for it at http://cvs.sourceforge.net/viewcvs.py/handconverter/ (their CVS browser), saw nothing checked in the CVS tree, and concluded it had never actually been uploaded. But I gather the download works (I'm trying it right now).

Anyone mind if I check the latest into CVS once I get set up?
