Is there actually any evidence for any sort of online casino being a "front for terrorist activity"? I mean, come on.

Would someone like to enlighten me how a drug cartel can launder money through an online poker site??????

[/ QUOTE ]

Or, better yet, why they would want to.

[/ QUOTE ]

It's a well known fact that drug dealers love to play Omaha.

I hate to say this to the respected member of the House Mr. Wolf, that outside interests have already manipulated the current version of the bill. After all the input that we have given to our elected representatives, they still choose to vote how they want.

Now, a representative from my state starts his 1 minute disposition...anecdotes are very important for persuasive argument kids, write that tip down.

If the Internet gives us a casino in every home, then it also gives us free access to <ahem> every adult sexual entertainment vehicle for the same age regstrictions. Will they vote on outlawing porn next? There are adult clubs in the cities in my states but underage folks can't get in...I'm sure those under the age of 18 get to see pictures and acts of naked people on the Internet in every home in this country .

Zero evidence. It is a total fabrication.

Why do the keep harping on credit cards? You can't even use a credit card online for gaming anymore. They have NO IDEA what they are even talking about!! It is just right wing bible thumping Republican election year pandering.

Leach is asked if there is evidence the sites are fixed.

He says: "There's not a lot of knowledge about this."

zOMG PARTY IS RIGGED!!!111 CONGRESS SAID SO!! EVERY1 BREAK OUT YOUR TINFOIL HATS BEFORE IT IS 2 LATE.

Seriously, I havent' been able to watch the debate, but I can envision how it is unfolding, and am just cracking up. Berge20... PM me some time.

Also, I might just add that it would likely take only one Senator opposed to the bill to kill it, if that Senator held to his or her guns behind the scenes. I am not sure what the bill's odds are in the Senate, but if I had to put a line on it, I'd say somewhere in the ballpark of 2 or 3 to 1 against passage.
