I know he has another show on HBO, but its format is not as good, it is only on weekly, and I'm not about to buy HBO just for one show.

Considering this is still a poker forum in some sence I'm surprised no one has mentioned "Lucky" which lasted 1 season on FX. It came out just before the poker boom really got started and I can't help thinking if it came out 6-months later it would have been more successful.

I also feel the need to mention "Joan of Arcadia" since my wife liked it and for a teenage psuedoreligous drama wasn't half bad. The end of the 2nd season had really set it up for a interesting turn in season 3 which unfortunately never happened.

Firefly needs to come back. When I finished watching the series on DVD, all I could think was "How the [censored] could they cancel this?"
