brady clark isn't making anyone expendable, thats like saying bringin in joe mcewing forshadowed alex cora's exit from boston
ellsbury was placed on the minor league DL, they need a warm body. even with his rapid decline, brady clark still provides that. he is not a major league 4th of'er, however.

[/ QUOTE ] this might be giving up too much, though i am a huge fan of laroche. i guess the reality is that pena will never play full-time in boston, so giving up a slight edge by dealing him and a semi-prospect in lester is worth getting the best 3rd baseman they have. lol collettiaments
