I don't feel like making a post about this specific hand. I pretty much insta-pushed all in on the turn. Anybody have any problems with that?? Villian runs at 32/16/2.96 through 438 hands. Ya know, just kinda replaying hands like this when your not running so hot:
PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $10 BB (5 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums) Button ($1714) SB ($579.75) BB ($1224) Hero ($1556.15) MP ($736) Preflop: Hero is UTG with 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. Hero raises to $40, 1 fold, Button calls $40, 2 folds. Super standard.
You both had the nuts and yours lost. Nothing to analyze here. Next hand. |

standard is a 4bet, but i also throw in calls and sometimes 4bet all in depending on what I think is best. Here, lohengrin37 is really bad and I wanted him in the pot. He's calling with almost anything and stacking off with top pair every time. roed seemed fairly TAG too, thought I might get a 4bet out of him which would be sweet.
Also, I can't post that hand without saying that I won a 6.5+ buyin pot right after at the same table with straight and flush draw vs top and middle set. oops. bingi_pro had the top set. |

dlizzle,
i can go coldcalling or 4-betting, imo, no big EV difference in the end. it is such a money spot u cant really [censored] it up. GL. |

ty. ya i think its close, an argument for 4betting is that with a coldcall there is a good chance 4 people see the flop, which is trouble for aces.
