If you can't handle the emotional outcome then don't push. I think you played this hand poorly. You had no FE.

okay wtf...

this was the weirdest thing that just happened to me.

i was playing in the hand, was aware of what i had and everything.

but once the turn peeled, i somehow SAW that i had an 8 in my hand, something like K8.

when my cards were mucked, i looked through the HH and realized i had KT.

has anyone ever had this? this was the weirdest thing that ive ever seen. it was like my mind/eyes SAW K8 in my hand.

really weird. maybe ive been playing on tilt too long or something. that was the weirdest thing ive ever seen. here is the HH. notice how i bet a nice vb amount on the turn so i can shove the river. and i INSTACALLED his shove.

Poker Stars - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $1/$2 Blinds - 5 Players - (LegoPoker HH Converter)

SB: $139.70
BB: $73.25
UTG: $440.20
CO: $105.75
Hero (BTN): $227.10

Preflop: Hero is dealt K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (5 Players)
UTG folds, CO calls $2.00, <font color="red">Hero raises to $10.00</font>, 2 folds, CO calls $8.00

Flop: ($23) Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 Players)
CO checks, <font color="red">Hero bets $15.00</font>, CO calls $15.00

Turn: ($53) 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 Players)
CO checks, <font color="red">Hero bets $30.00</font>, <font color="red">CO raises all-in to $80.75</font>, Hero calls $50.75

River: ($214.50) 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 Players - 1 All-In)

Pot Size: $214.50 ($2 Rake)

CO had 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (three of a kind, Eights) and WON (+$106.75)
Hero had K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] and LOST (-$105.75)

weirdest thing to ever happen to me in poker.

My point is that it is completely impossible for him to have "played the hand quite poorly" by pushing. If you have no FE then pushing is by definition the best move -- you have the most equity.

I'll take winning 100% of the pot 100% of the time over 100% of the pot roughly 50% of the time.

Edit: Beat to it already.
