Sunderland sign Stokes from Arsenal, a pretty big signing for us moreso as he turned down Celtic and Charlton to come, makes me feel optimistic for the future.

yeah I was hoping Arsenal would keep him, but there really isn't room for him. Looks like they made some nice change on the deal. I was also glad he went to Sunderland over Charlton.

I know there's no FA Cup thread, but, oh no! Arsenal draw Bolton!

I think they are very much a bogey team for Arsenal over the past couple of years, and they always seem to match up well and slow us down with their dirty play. Liverpool (whom we own this year for some reason), and now Bolton. The draw certainly could've been kinder to us over the first two rounds. [img]/images/graemlins/blush.gif[/img]
