The D just looks shaky in general and not playing well and not aggressive enough, making lots of errors which are costing Arsenal games. Sheff Utds' goal was caused by an error from Toure, Matthew Taylor's goal in the Portsmouth was because Arsenal couldn't clear the ball inside the box, and Kuyt's goal happened when he was left wide open inside the 6 yard box.

yeah, Arsenal are very poor on set pieces. Once Gallas returns it should help immensely. Their two SB's are also very young. One thing they were missing against Liverpool was Cesc. With him in, Arsenal is better able to maintain possession in the midfield. This takes some pressure off of the CB's.

Agree on Gallas/Cesc. Also, Diaby coming back should help immensely in the midfield. As for the outside backs, that is definitely Arsenal's weakest spot IMO. I have no doubt that Eboue/Clichy will be great in a few years, but right now they aren't at the level. Although Lauren is coming back from injuries, several rumors have linked him with a move to West Ham so that could hur the defense even more.

The thing is I like what Eboue and Clichy bring on the offensive end, but you are right, defensively they are not very good. Could be the youth aspect. I would take Clichy over Eboue right now, and I wouldn't be surprised if Eboue is sold, especially if Lauren comes back healthy.

Please please please to Milan. Only if he brings Danny Mills with him though, I suppose.

Yea, I've heard this rumor a lot lately and I've also heard that if Mourinho leaves, Guus Hiddink will take over at Chelsea.

one question I have is, why would he want to leave? Maybe he wants to have success with another club?
