Wow, I didn't mean to offend you, I was trying to help out some but guess not.

I looked quickly and didn't notice the raise. Sorry for looking to help out, and I will make sure not to make any more posts when on a downswing as it will apparently be immaturely thrown back in my face when trying to help a random player deal with a beat better. Jeeez

Prodigy- maybe I have you confused with another poster but didn't you make some snide comment a few weeks ago about how you or your buddy won money from me in a sample that was <100 hands?

Again, it's a min raise in a family pot. Implied odds up the wazoo.

[/ QUOTE ]

Implied odds are good for suited connectors and small pairs, not unsuited broadway hands.

EDIT: Congratulations on hitting your running pair you [censored] moron.

You really think he is a moron. Do you fold AJ with that flop? Maybe you don't get it all in on the flop but villian is certainly no moron.

Yes, that was me, but I don't think anyone got the concept.

The point was to tell you that you need to play back at people, because AT THAT POINT IN TIME I was up on you because I had stolen two big pots off of you. I probably stated I didn't think I was a better player, because I do not think so, but that your style let people take pots off you. Jeez everyone acted like it had anything to do with sample sizes, and it did not. I think you will beat me in the long term, but you think any criticism is some kind've personal attack or something. I didn't even remotely remember that I made that post until now...heh

Edit: Also, I do agree that I don't like calling AJ there against most opponents, and if I am going to call there the opponent is probably bad enough that I can re-raise...

Sigh.

You always have implied odds against donkeys.

I'm not playing AJo against a real raise, particularly not against a good player. However, against an idiot I'll take the cheap flop and try to spank him post-flop. It's a very small investment.

Well this sucked.

Villain was loose preflop but nitty post-flop: 30/6/.8 Hence the slowplay, I didn't want to scare him off by raising.

River is an obvious fold. He's at least hit his 2-pair. Of course I didn't fold, which is why I'm posting it here.
