anyone else having this problem on stars? know how to fix it?

Wow, there are a whole page of unanswered problems!

Bad time for my main computer to break... replaced it now, but need sleep [img]/images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img]

Maybe... naver played there, so currently can't comment on possible or not.

Next on the list is Absolute support, and secondary iPoker methods for thoise that don't like the useage of the chat window to grab hand histories (ty butcha) - expect release in a couple days max.

I just downloaded the newest bet pot script and I am trying to edit it but when I go to edit it goes to a blank notepad instead of the notepad that has all the script info on it. I just wanna make it from 4 bbs preflop to 3.5 bbs preflop.

edit: I was using it earlier and it was working fine and I went to play a session and the bet pot script isnt doing anything except going to 0 both preflop and postflop.

I just tested all the pot scripts I have on my comp and the new one is the only one that is working at all (it scrolls up and down) but it still just goes to 0 when I bet pot.

(I am using the default theme so I dont know y it wont work)

I just wanted to add that today I had to update my stars client cuz I kept getting an error message and stars instantly closes, so that is the reason my old script didnt work and prolly the reason y the new one doesnt either

Are you running SnoopFree? That will kill the Pot functions.

Other things it may be, you need to be in 32-bit colour depth, maybe that is the problem?

Post a screenshot (PNG format) of your stars table, that may help diagnose the problem.

The script is reading *nothing*, other than the3 fact you are on a supported table - not even the blinds [img]/images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img]

Are you on Vista? if so, make sure scripts / poker cients are all running as administrator.

If not, please elaborate on your set up.

It may be a problem if BetPot is also trying to interact with the Full Tilt table (perhaps it can be prevented from doing so). FTS will not interact with a Stars table, so that shouldn't be a problem.

It will be a problem if you have shared hotkeys between the two scripts, e.g. both have an action specified for RButton:: - it will be random chance which script (or both) processes the event.

Comment out the line near the top of BetPot that identifies FTP windows, if need be - or adjust your buttons so they don't conflict.

It is the same deck - the only difference is the deck/cardrank bmp/masks I stole from BarNuthin before I tried making my own.

Hi Fozzy,

Bar Nuthin's response is correct.

You need to make sure the alphamask files have some pallete index 0 (I think) on the white areas.

BetPot checks for >5 pure white 0xFFFFFF pixels in the cards area on Stars, so gradient faded white is fine, as long as there are *some* pure white pixels in there too.

You can run BetPot in debug mode to visualize the scanned areas (a couple screenshots above demonstrate this).

This has not gotten any better or worse, for me, since I started using my cards instead of the simple cards. My card faces are the exact same size as the Simple cards.

Which table/background mods are the best to use, to maintain full functionality of BetPot? I thought I remembered reading something about the Bet Slider needing to be the default image? And what button is "supposed" to bet pot% when clicked? On FTP I would click the wheel - on stars none of the buttons have ever worked, they always entered "0" in the bet amount. Just tried the default stars theme, with the brown pot slider - It still acted the same as when I use an Everlong Theme with my cards. [img]/images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img]

Supported themes are Default, and Hyper-Simple - it uses the slider colour to determine which set of images to use. Because of this image matching, it needs standard (Default or Hyper simple) graphics for the pot size indicator, and for the call/raise buttons. Other than that, graphics do not matter, apart from the need for pure-white pixels on cards to determine street.

If you are getting 0 on pot functions, either you are running SnoopFree, or have desktop in 16-bit colour mode, or some of the older problems (unextracted zip/shortcut etc. - but the script should now fail to start if they occur).
