Definitely vacuum your databases. Also shut down SS and do a defrag on your HD.

Is your DB getting really big? I will be adding some features to SS to clear out old data.

Default Sixth Sense v1.1.0.64 Released - PokerStars scanner

The long-awaited PokerStars client-side scanner has been released!

Note this is a BETA version. I expect there are still bugs to fix with the scanner, etc. Also note that the scanner uses OCR, which is not expected to be 100% accurate (it is currently about 99.9% accurate). This should improve as the OCR module is tested more, etc.

<font class="small">Code:</font><hr /><pre>
// v1.1.0.64 - 5/5/07

- Added: PokerStars Client-side scanner (BETA)
- Activated when user selects "PokerStars" from list of sites
- User must make sure PokerStars is open to the lobby with the correct
filter already selected (game type, stakes, hiding full tables, etc)
- User must ensure PokerStars window is fully visible and not blocked
by other windows when scanning
- Uses OCR, not 100% accurate (currently avg 99.9% accurate). Will
improve as OCR library matures.
</pre><hr />

Download the new release from:

Download Link:
http://www.pokermgr.com/sixth_sense_setup.exe

IMPORTANT NOTE: This releases contains a CLIENT-SIDE PokerStars scanner. We believe this is in compliance with the PokerStars TOS, but you must USE SIXTH SENSE AT YOUR OWN RISK.

Default Sixth Sense v1.1.0.71 Released - NumTables field added

v1.1.0.71 - 5/20/07

<font class="small">Code:</font><hr /><pre>
- Added: There is now a "NumTables" field for all players. It tells you
the # of tables the player is currently playing at. Its useful for
finding multi-tablers.
- If you don't see this field in the Players table, right click, click
menu "Select Player Fields", and make sure "# Tables" is clicked on.
- This field is "NumTables" in the Custom User Scoring dialog. You can
create custom user rules to help avoid (or find) multi-tablers.
- If you create custom user rules that JUST use "NumTables", be sure to
turn OFF "Use Convergence", since # of hands has no relation to it.

Im datamining on a remote host server. Does sixth sense support this? It cant find the database and gives me this error....

"test connection failed because of an error in initializing provider. Unspecified error." when I test

and "The database you selected is not a pokertracker database. You cannot import HH databases......."

It does support it, you just have to properly configure it in the ADO dialog. Email me a screen shot of your dialog settings, I might be able to tell what's wrong.

To be fair, they put Sixth Sense on their prohibited list when Sixth Sense didn't even support PokerStars. When we did add PokerStars, we did it in a way that supports their TOS (all client side, Sixth Sense server isn't used at all).

Also, not one user of Sixth Sense has been warned by PokerStars to not use the software. The "use at your own risk" phrase is used in every software license I know of.

I put in a request on May 9 to PokerStars support to approve Sixth Sense, and have not heard back from them yet. I will ping them again.

What is the difference between using Sixth Sense on party using the SS server and on stars client side only?
