Diceman - this is damn annoying but I really don't see a way out. Cooler I think.

Against a really solid TAG reg at 50NL I seriously consider folding (that is, I seriously consider folding just before I call, obviously).

dero what are you doing in uNl if you dont mind my asking?

[/ QUOTE ]

if you mean why am i still playing 50nl, there are a few reasons (most of them dumb decisions on my part including wasting time in other games where one's edge is smaller).

but i'm glad you asked because it motivates me not to become another FGators, which honestly i was in danger of becoming. Right now I think I'm playing alot better postflop and I think it's going to get better with all the videos i watch/posts i read (and HU SNGs have helped me alot with handreading). I feel more in control nowadays when I'm in a hand than i used to in the past: like i know what they have, what is profitable to do, and what isn't.

In Clayton's post in BBV in the FGatros thread, he made a point that was kinda insightful to own my play in the past, where I thought I was getting coolered/sucked out on alot, but in reality I wasn't picking up enough pots or value betting somewhat thin (I think back to all those hands I checked on the turn and/or river that I could have bet profitably) and I was making quite a few dumb plays (two and three barreling in wrong spots, tilt 4-betting preflop, etc).

End of biography.

there is a small % of people who like to bet tiny on the river with a monster, leading me to raise them

these people must die
