I'm 19 (almost 20 now), and I've been dating her since I was 17 with a small break in the middle. Overall it's been around 2 years.

I am withdrawing most of my online bankroll, the latest swing has pretty much killed my self-esteem and I'm not strong enough to withstand these. I'm leaving enough for a nl50 bankroll.

Well, earlier today I told my girlfriend how I felt about it, and I also told her that I have enough money saved up for an engagement ring finally. So, as soon as I ask her dad for permission (she's an old-fashioned girl w/ an old-fashioned family), I will be officially engaged.

Congrats man. I just got engaged too. One piece of advice: make sure she loves the ring you get. It is a huge deal for most girls.

Just to clarify, marriage date isn't til Spring 2009, so it's not like I'm getting married this year, just engaged while we save up enough money for a big wedding/new house.
