I know everyone is saying how she's not actually a very good player, but there haven't been many comments on the absurdity of having a $12,000 roll for the $10,000 tournament circuit.

[/ QUOTE ]

there have been at least a dozen comments on this if not more.

the whole idea of her life is absurd -- the blog post where she said she expects to have two million dollars by 26 and is excited about the third million she intends to earn by 28... this is a likely clinically insane girl playing 10k tournaments on a 12k bankroll (which really means offering 30k buttsecks, or varying degrees thereof) with the delusion that shes going to become rich, when the problem is she isnt actually good at the game (both in terms of skill and bankroll management). its sad.

[/ QUOTE ]

yes but that boat she intends to buy sounds pretty sweet

I don't think it's clinically insane to think that all she has to do is just win one tourney to be rich.

This is just common fish thinking.

Like the idiot who was chatting away with me in line for a satellite who was determined to win his $10k main-entry.
But if he lost a couple of satellites then no problem because he can just go play some 10/20 limit for a couple hours and make another $1k. Then use that to buy into more satellites.

Also reminded of the guy on the old A&E show 'Poker Kings' who was pretty much down to his last buy-in for a big tournament and had to cash or else he's be busto.

Lots of people like that in the poker-world who just have zero clue and continue to harbor ideas of, "All I have to do is have just one tourney where I finally catch some cards."

It's thinking like Brandi's which is frighteningly typical that also helps to make the games as profitable as they are.

Brandi,

Newhizzle is a good guy. I started IMing with him about 3 months ago. Within less than 5 minutes, we actually agreed to an inter account transfer for 5 figures. He sent first. It was great that he would trust a basic stranger like this, based upon my reputation and his trusting nature. It's sad that this no longer exists thanks to a whore like you. How can you live with yourself after stealing $30k from someone who was helping you out? And then come on here and spread filth about him? It's clear from the hands posted that you are a TERRIBLE poker player, too. If you want to sleep with poker players in order to get their money, why not become an actual whore? There's good money in for you, enough to pay back Mark within a year and still have some money left over for yourself.

There is no credibility for you here after what Mark posted.

Kindly [censored] off,

Dean

[/ QUOTE ]How did she she steal anything from him? He gave her permission to play, and it was quite obvious that she was playing higher and he even says that he gave her permission to play $10/20.

[/ QUOTE ]

I'm still waiting for an answer to this one, for reality's sake. You're more respected so maybe you'll get it.

[/ QUOTE ]

she really didn't steal from him, unless there was some fancy chip dumping going on, which she doesn't seem smart enough to pull off.

[/ QUOTE ]

Reeeealllly..... so if I am at your house and need ten bucks, and you say "my wallet is over there" and I take 5000, it somehow isn't stealing?

He told her several times not to play 15/30 and to play SnGs. It is obviously theft.

There is a show called Radical Sabbatical on the Fine Living Channel where people quit their jobs to pursue some other career or passion. The did an episode with this guy who was a vitamin salesman, with 4 kids(!), who quit his job to play poker.

The whole drama of the episode was whether he was going to be able to grind his bankroll from $4k to $10 in 3 weeks (I think) to "gain entry onto the World Poker Tour". ??!!!? I guess it was just assumed he would make the money in his first and only tourney. Sadly despite sitting at a lot of depressing-looking tables at the Bike and Commerce, he was not able to make enough money to pay the entry fee for the WPT. We were left not sure what was going to happen to Ron. Interesting insights though, like you said.
