Yes. If they don't pick up both a RB and CB on January 1st I'll be surprised. The defence has been terrible without Terry, and while sadly Essien might be the best RB on the team at the moment he's making a lot of mistakes. Ferreira and Geremi aren't getting the job done, and Boulahrouz can't seem to get back on the field. This defence just isn't good enough without Terry and Cech, luckily they have the money to shop. Hopefully they'll spend smarter than in the summer.

Standard. Keepers get injured so infrequently that it's probably better to have more options on the bench to use. Besides, Jagielka is a god amongst men and can stop anything.

That's absolutely typical of Arsenal. They keep trying to score the perfect goal rather than just having a shot or getting it wide and sticking a cross in. While they've not been able to do the latter for years due to not owning a striker that can head the ball, the former is inexcusable.

i'm sorry - i've been an arsenal supporter for years but even i can't excuse the performance gave against Sheffield. even banged up, the side that arsenal had out there still should have enough quality to win against a second-string (yes, that's right - Sheffield's side contained many of their second team players) Sheffield team.

i love the "beautiful football" that arsenal plays but sometimes a goal is just a goal, especially against a replacement keeper. take a shot, at least!
