Looks like only Bottom 2 is correct, even though it was Bottom 3 for at this stage the past 2 years.
Nigel: "I'm going to do something we've never done before. I'm going to split them into the top 2 vote getters, the middle 2 vote getters, and the bottom 2 vote getters. So for the first time, you'll see who the top 2 vote getters were, for this week." Also, it was the 3rd highest voting total ever, around 47 million, only less than the Fantasia and Carrie finales, so a ridiculous # of votes for this stage of the competition, probably due to them opening up 2 phone lines earlier than normal. |

Also, next week there will be 2 performances each and no guest. One song from the contestant's year of birth, and one song from the current Billboard charts.
Nigel did not say anything about a shocker, or about the person going home, and I have not seen any rumors about anything said on Ryan's show other than: [ QUOTE ] Somebody on the official boards said Ryan said this on his show... . He said that Nigel implied that the one going home is a huge fan favorite. And he was shocked that the person's fanbase had a lackluster showing. [/ QUOTE ] This would imply Kellie, but I don't trust the official boards. Crap posted there all the time, particularly one-liner rumors. There would be confirmation of this, if true, as many people listen to Ryan's show. Also, others have said that Paula came on Ryan's show, not Nigel. Still, it's scary for myself and other Kellie holders, particularly because she has not been B3 yet. If she had been, she would have received a boost from her fanbase, regardless of poor performances. As is, it's set up similarly to the Constantine "shock" elimination. However, if she makes it through this week, she will rebound strongly and get a boost the next week or two, which will put her towards the top again, where we thought she would be. |

Wow. I was feeling great about my Kellie shares heading into this week but now I'm feeling very, very nervous. That was God-awful and America will notice. Granny, you out there? Can you quell my Kellie concerns at all? [/ QUOTE ] wish i could. we sold all our kellies yesterday. it was <5% of our holdings, but they are gone. |

I think Kellie is in trouble tonight - her lack of confidence in her own ability is a killer. If you don't believe in yourself why should anyone else?

Speaking of Dads...
Anyone else get a kick out of Kat's dad? he's always crying. Always. doubtless seeing your daughter perform can be emotional, but I think she's been doing it pretty much her whole life. And he still cries. Everytime. At Idol, watching tapes of her at home, every single time. It's like going to the grocery store for pears every week and sobbing because they're so good ("look how green they are!" *tear*). |
