Default Re: FPHG v0.01 available

again, awesome thank you so much.

How do I set up pokertracker to import these files automatically? I read something about naming a file empire.exe, but didn't quite understand.

What is the name of the program you use to make sure you've always got an active table open? I don't think I can still run partymine with this.

Also I read that someone had 25 tables open. How can that be if you can only open 12?

Thanks in advance!!

Default Steps required to use FPHG

1. Make a folder for mining somewhere.
2. Copy an execuatble into this folder and rename it EmpirePoker.exe (or another skin you don't use).
3. Copy FreePHG.exe into this folder also.
4. Open up some tables (see below).
5. Start running FreePHG.exe from your mining folder and you should start to see .hhf files appearing for the tables you are watching.
6. When you want to import these hands, point PT at this folder by pointing it at the EmpirePoker.exe (it will then think this folder is the empire folder and [auto-]import from their).

(Thanks the Adde for working out this method! )

The program (really its a AHK script, but its cool - better than PartyMine IMO) you want is called iWitness (its main discussion thread is (here).

I think you need to use multiple Windows XP user areas for this, and just mine 4 extra tables in each user area (I wouldn't risk multiple Party accounts after the ZJ thing). To be able to do this you will need a pretty fast PC, and I am not even 100% sure yet how this will work as FPHG is pretty CPU intensive, but a few are likely trying it and we should get some feedback fairly soon.

BTW: How do you open 12 tables, I can only do 10?

Nice work!

Sry if i havn't read trough the hole thread for this question, but i just imported 15k hands that i grabed with this program on 5/10 SH. But they were importet as fullring b/c of the lack of SH-tag. Is there any way to mark them as SH i PT?

I think this already caused other people a few problems (see here).

I just grab the HHF as party makes them, and I not sure why they removed the 6max tag from inside the HH files, there just seems no reason for it?

Just figured out a way. Dont know if you allready knew it. I copyed the .hhf files that FreePHG generated into the PartyPoker folder and used the auto-import with the "treat as 6max" button checkad.

I think the problem is when you come to export/re-import this data. I not sure if PT adds the (6max) tag to the HH files as it imports them and it may get very confusing at a later date if you have mixed 6max and FR games.

This script should help, as it modifies the actual HH files so that they are marked as 6max (like they were before the update).

FreePHG v0.02 with verbose enabled by default-obviously uses more memory...if I do extended mining sessions could this be a problem ? I guess we'll find out.

It should be fine, but if you ever manage to mine more than 1000 tables in a single run of FPHG then there is a limit (I gota fix this eventually, but never thought anybody would manage to get past this limit).

Hopefully verbose by default will make it a little clearer that it is actually running and doing stuff, as few people were put off by the blank screen I think!

Nice tool, but it is using so much resources and is slowing me down considerably.
Is there anything I can do?
