It's understandable that you would try to rationalize why this would happen. You really need to talk with other people who have gone through this sort of thing, not condescending oot pricks who think they know everything about life because they did their dissertation on life experience. Seriously, if you want some real advice, it's to never post about this stuff on 2+2 because the posters here are not going to be of any help whatsoever.

Originally, I posted just to make people aware about how serious infidelity is as far as destroying families and such. I knew that most people were not aware that it was an addiction so I thought I could open some eyes. Lottery Larry asks for sources to support my claim, I provide one...he says one is not enough so I provide 4 more and then everyone jumps down my throat about being in denial and that I am hung up about the addiction thing.

If your marriage was like a business relationship then why don't you let her continue to bang her new bf and not get a divorce? That way you could keep the house and an intact family unit. Obviously there would have to be some ground rules like the other dude can not enter your domicile and bla, bla, bla...

I haven't paid too much attention to this thread, but it seems to me like the problem here isn't the sex; his wife just prefers the other guy all around. If it were just about the sex, I think something like this could be good, though it of course depends on the parties involved. I also tend to think that people take sex too seriously on average, though, and I think I would have an unusually high tolerance for sexual indiscretions on my fiancee's part.
