He won $137k in a Stars tourney he entered with only one account. I'm all for burning witches, but we should make sure they are indeed made of wood first.

Thank you. You don't just send a guy an email saying that your life is screwed w/o getting the crime str8.

I've always found the distinction between murder and attempted murder to be a strange distinction to make. The intention was the same.

ZeeJustin may not have won $137k in a tourney in which he cheated. But he attempted to do something similar on numerous occasions.

[/ QUOTE ]

Why can't anyone on this forum make an analogy without going totally overboard? In fact, why the need for an analogy at all? What he did do is pretty clear.

Your ethics seem to be highly situational.

Everybody's ethics are situational.

If that was true they wouldn't be called ethics.

And what Party did was clear too. They hastily stole 100K from a poker player because they knew they could. If this isn't make public in a week or so then they are also crooks.

wtf.

this has nothing to do with ansky's post.

his point is that there's already a 3000 post thread about it. what makes your point so much more important than the hundreds of people that have contained their opinions in that one thread?

You are a moron. Cheating is cheating. They get less than they deserved.

2. Party Poker took Zee's money for obvious reasons. They didn't do it to protect the integrity of the game because they won't make it public to anyone. They took his $$ because they could and quite frankly that's unethical.

3. If you don't reprimand party for their hasty decision, you are making a mistake. If they don't at least make this public to all its customers, then they are highly unethical because its our $$ not their.Indy

[/ QUOTE ]

With all due respect, this is the dumbest argument I've heard and sadly there is a small a handfull of people making it.

They took his money b/c it is within right to do so. It's in their terms and agreements. ZJ knew it. It's not as if they are confiscating everyone's money just b/c they can, no they confiscated a cheaters funds and rightly so. If they confiscated the funds of other players for no reason, then players would quit plaing their site.

In regards to #3 - It IS our money and ZJ stole it. Party should make every attempt to redistribute the money to the correct people. Hopefully whatever is left will be used for things such as free rolls, re-load bonuses, xtra site security, etc.. It is of course Party's choice. Besides what is the price tag on the damage he has caused? Not only to Party, but the other sites as well. The integrity of all of the sites is now going to be further scrutinized. This story will eventually hit the news and when it does these sites WILL lose business b/c of it. I'm sure they will still make a boat-load but their business will be affected negatively. Also, you better believe that legislaters will cream themselves with this information. It will just add fuel to their fire.

These 2 guys have "phucked" all online players to some degree

I'm not saying that ZeeJustin is a murderer, in case you were confused.
