I bet, donk calls, river: 4h

I bet, donk raises, I take him to 3-town, he puts me on a bus to 4-ville, I puke, utter some profanities and call, he shows Ah3h and I lose it, I tell him exactly what a fn idiot he is, how much he sucks at pkr and a lot of other things I can't even remember, I leave the table, cash in my chips and leave the casino before I start throwing punches at random people

never in my life have I flipped out like that, I just couldn't take any of this isht any more, not after losing for 3 months straight

I might never play limit again in my life, although I'll probably sit in again tomorrow

somebody get me sklansky's number, I'm due for some fn sklansky bucks

I had a 1 hour dose of that on my last trip to Vegas. I got either JJ or better about 13 times in 4 orbits. And I won with 2 or 3 hands. Before going on tilt I just got up and left. I think it's the only reason I kept my sanity.

some really tough players play 60, super tough game. i want to share with you all how tough the game can be.

bb who is an old guy who plays every hand limps utg, asian man who is terrible limps, maybe some others of teh limp limp.

the flop is 4c3cTh. check, bet, call. heads up.

the turn is 8s. check, bet, call.

the river pairs the 3. check, bet, call.

the asian guy turns over Jc9c and says i missed everything. the old man exclaims "i knew he was bluffing!" and slams down triumphantly 5c2c for the nut low. problem is were playing limit hold em hi.

when the rest of the table explained to him over and over how even though he caught the guy bluffing he still had nothing and wouldnt get the pot, he didnt seem to care. he just laughed and said "i caught him. i knew he was bluffing, i knew it. he missed his flush." he was quite proud of himself for his excellent read.

I believe this is the fabled -1 level of poker. While the tragic hero was exerting his effort into putting his opponent on a hand (a bluff) he neglected to put himself on a hand and wound up calling with the 5 high.

I ended up losing only like 600 in that game after being down about 1k to him but it's just [censored] infuriating to play HU and never win a [censored] hand. Luckily I'm playing some 15 O as well right now and miraculously winning about 500 despite being awful. Winning $a lot at Commerce helps but it's just so aggravating to sit and just let someone take pot after pot, and when you decide that they must be bluffing because they can't possibly have it every single time you decide to call them down with 87543 and get shown a wheel or with a 34569 and get shown 87perfect. At first I thought he was a loose passive fish (maybe he was in full ring) but HU he seemed reasonable and I only kept playing him from my sick desire to make him lose.

Here we go, as I type this I see it's back to normal in omaha. Nut flush draw+nut low draw+gutshot in a 15 way pot, with 10 billion outs with many for scoop or 3/4 how could I possibly hit.

Even worse there's now some random european guy sitting alone in a 30 HORSE. I was going to go to sleep because I'm mad that I lost in the 2-7 but I have never seen this guy before and I would really like to add his $600 to my Pokédex.
