fwiw, i would MUCH rather see the 100k go into the hands of justine (poor college student waiting tables) then like 95%+ of the rest of the general population at pokerstars.

that was absolutely awesome.

btw, like she folds 83o or 83clubs ever again? think not.

If I understand correctly, had XXTedForestxX not accidently folded, he would have won 100k+. If so, thats sick and if it was me I would sink into sick depression for the rest of the year.

well, i believe him calling would have changed what came out on the board. still, not knowing what would have happened had i called would make me puke (especially if it was because i was too dumb to put 5 bucks on the line)

I don't think him calling would have changed what came out on the board, because as I understand it the order of cards in the deck is already determined by the start of each hand. So even though his call would have added "user input", it would only have affacted the next deal.

Because now she will get a boob job, nose job, and a coke addiction. To pay for her new coke addiction she will try her luck at the high limits. She will inevitably lose the money back to the community and begin stripping to get money to reload. When the stripping doesn't make her enough to buy coke and reload twice a week, she will try hooking for a bump or a buyin at .1/.25NL.

Does the Stars rng not have the board cards pre - determined after the hole cards are dealt? i.e. whether one folds or passes and whether they do it instantly or take forever will not effect the actual five cards that appear.

Well, I genuinely believed that to be the case anyway.

"The 19-year-old woman is a university student from Canada who is waiting tables for the summer. At the time she won the $100,000, she had $12 in her PokerStars account. She started playing poker in high school about four years ago and fell in love with the game. So, naturally, she gravitated toward PokerStars."
