my life - michael keaton dying of cancer

Wow-- i had to stay in the theater like 30 minutes after it was over cause I was embarassed to go outside bawling.

Some movie called DAD too..

[/ QUOTE ]

Yes to both of those. My Life is very sad.

We watched Dad in my senior psychology class and it was everything I could do not to break down. We also watched Patch Adams in that class and I teared up a little.

One I would add is To Gillian on her 37th Birthday. It stars Peter Gallagher and Michelle Phieffer. I caught it on HBO a few years back and it really got me.

I also think Scent of a Woman got me a little, where Pacino said he wasnt good at saying goodbye.

Others that have been mentioned that I agree with

Forrest Gump
Philadelphia
Glory
Man on fire
Big Fish(bathtub scene and the ending)
Blow
Lost in Translation
Gladiator

damn Forrest Gump

Rough 1. My mom had recently died to make it worse.

[/ QUOTE ]

That'll do it. My dad died when I was a teenager, and we didn't get along too well; so Field of Dreams always gets me.

Glory: Full on nearly-hyperventilating-sob at some points.

Forrest Gump: A teary-sorta-happy-sentimental combo.

Schindler's List: I hate evil-mankind-and-everything-about it cry.

There are many others but these are my top three. Glory was on Bravo about two weeks ago, ugh. Damit! Every time.

Came pretty close during King Kong last year, but I was able to hold myself together.

"Twas the beauty that killed the beast."

That was sad. The only way I could keep from crying is thinking "He went out like a champ."
Yeah, who am I kidding. I cried.

Corpse Bride almost got me.

I am a little girl.

Harry Stamper is the definition of hero!
When he is talking to his daughter towards the end of this movie, it is all I can do to keep from bawling.
