I'm having trouble installing the upgrade. I get this dialog:

Cannot install file "ARA.ini".

My friend tells me it may be because i'm not running as administrator?

I haven´t recieved any Party Points for the hands I played yesterday. Anyone else got this problem?

[/ QUOTE ]
There were other threads on this. Apparently the new 6-max limits weren't/ aren't configured to give out any points. A bug on Party's part and they know about it.

[/ QUOTE ]

Ah ok, that explains it. I was trying out the new 6-max tables.

[/ QUOTE ]
You should email Party and make sure to get your points. Even though they know about the problem, I wouldn't trust them to correctly fix it for everyone who doesn't say anything.

They just haven't updated for any tables. Sometime tomorrow night is what I have heard.

Dear XXXXXXXXXXXX,

Thanks for writing in,

As you have doubtlessly noticed, we have released a major update to the PartyPoker software a few hours ago. We are working flat out to make the transition to the new software as smooth as possible.

We are doing our best to pay out the first week bonuses for our Acceler-8-tor promotion on time. We are confident that weŭll make it, however, please bare with us should there be a slight delay.

Please check your Party Points once again after 10.00 pm EST tomorrow in order to see the updated points earned.

In the meantime, weŭd like to encourage you to check out the many new and cool features on the new PartyPoker software. Of course we are very interested in your thought so please do not hesitate to give us feedback on [email protected].

Kind Regards

Lucy

I don't know if this has been addressed yet, because there is too much here to wade through, but is anyone else having trouble getting the (fold/raise/call) buttons on the new patch to work without double- or triple-clicking? it's very frustrating.

Default New Stud Tables

There are supposed to be 15-30 30-60 and 20-40 for each stud hi and stud8. However none of the new tables are open. If you try to click on says 30-60 for instance it just says it is loading table list and never gets there. If you click all of 7stud, you wont see any of the new tables either. Id really like to see this fixed.

When I start the client, the default ALL game types is selected, however no tables show up until I click on either C or T, after that everything shows up when I click on ALL.

LONGER LEVELS IN MTTS PLEASE! I played the 109 and I really think that ten minute levels are a complete joke with the new structure...

I wrote a free add-on tool called PartyPlanner which lets you set any table sizes and positions you like (even mixing sizes.) You can swap tables' positions and they re-size automatically.

It also helps manage your tables and the lobby window. You can download it from the PartyPlanner page in the overcards.com Poker Wiki

[/ QUOTE ]That no longer places the lobby- only the tables.

[/ QUOTE ]

That's not true if you downloaded and installed after I made that post -- the software was updated today.

Dopey -- thanks for the kudos, but it wasn't that hard. I wrote the code and tested against the Party Beta, and the tables are now the same as the Beta was. The only big change was the lobby system, and I didn't do much with the lobby except move it around and shrink it, so it was easy.

Party,

Your previous lobby had a countdown for each tournament. 15 minutes....until start. It is very difficult to tell how long before these tourneys start. Start times are all listed in EST. Can you add a countdown clock or column to the lobby?

Also, can you make the tournaments $20+2 instead of $22. I would appreciate knowing how much I am being charged and how much is going into the prize pool.

Thanks.
