the past 3 games have been ugly. The Raptors leaks (Rebounding and Defense) are really being exposed.. I dunno if it's just due to the Absence of Anthony Parker or not, but the games should at least be competitive against the likes of Cleveland and Washington. Colangelo will definitely address defense + rebounding needs in the off-season.

- TJ Ford needs to step up
- Raptors need to Rebound as a team.. it has to be a collective effort not to get killed on the glass every game.

The really good news is that we haven't really surrendered ground in the Atlantic conference to Jersey.. Jefferson is due back on the 9th though so they'll get a lift.

This off season should be fun for the Raps. Clearly there are holes on this team. Having a healthy AP is huge.

I think Anderson Varejao is available next year. He would look so good in a Raps uniform.

Well another typical Sunday (and in this case Seattle) Raptors game...

AB7 can seriously ship it crucial. Not to mentions CB4's amazing end-to-end. That Allen play was brutal. Rebounding, second chance points KILLED the Raptors. TJ, onions in OT.

Crazy, but a must win.

what a game! it's something about early Sunday tips that seem to produce some of the most exciting games. That Bargnani 4 point play had me screaming in jubilation! Onions baby onions

The last few minutes of the game was definately white knuckle time. I don't know how much more of this my heart can take. Bosh's end to end play was the game changer and Bargnani's 4 point play was HUGE. TJ came up huge in overtime, AP and Dixon had a great game. Outstanding all around team effort.

The next few games for the Raptors are all against sub 500 teams and it's our chance to move up in the standings and put some distance with new jersey. NBA.com has us ranked 6th in power rankings, nice!

Juan Dixon has really been showing why hes considered one of the top 5 players in the game today these past 3 games:

55 points
23/40 shooting
14 rebounds
10 assists
4 steals
1 block

yup Dixon in my opinion has been a steal for the Raps. Not only is he playing well, he's out on the floor during crunch time.

What's the deal with MoPete??? Ray Allen was lighting us up when Parker was on Lewis and J.Dix was on Allen. It seemed like the thing to do would be put MoPizzle in for J.Dix to lock down Allen, but it didn't happen.

Any thoughts? I think MoPete is a much better defender than J.Dix (atleast on a taller player) and his offence isn't that much worse (even though his shooting has been terrible lately).

I hereby retract my undying hatred for TJ. I still don't like him, and would rather have Calderon on the floor at any given time - but TJ stepped up nicely yesterday.

re: the offseason. I'd really like to see the Raps unload MoPete. I think he's got some value to other teams in the league, and he just doesn't seem to mesh with the Raps this season.

Three years from now Bargnani will be a top 5 player in the league. I am also predicting that he wins the 3pt contest sometime within the next few years.

MoPizzle is in his contract year, and it's common belief that Colangalo won't resign him. We'll have about 6mil in cap space, and will hopefully go after a rebounder.
