But you will take down a few innocents. I have seen this happen in other forms of gambling. In the early days of card counting detection many live ones were barred just because they varied their bets and seemed to play perfect basic strategy. [/ QUOTE ] What the [censored] are you talking about? Who is taking anyone down? |

What kind of experiment was this? What did it prove? I like the bot's bluff raise on the river when the scare card hits. [/ QUOTE ] To see if they are willing to get out of line after I take control. I had heard they go passive. Obviously can still get tricky. |

What is the SNG bot story? [/ QUOTE ] Similar to this story AFAIK. Someone reported to party that there were bots in the SNGs. Accounts were closed and funds confiscated |

[/ QUOTE ] So a few people had to go across the street in order to clean up the games? Sounds like a good bargain to me. These are private poker games, it's not like we're sending innocents to jail or something. If you don't do this, *nobody* gets to play in clean games. |

An NO bots online on party as far as my eyes can see... [/ QUOTE ] they probably just haven't logged back on yet. he has htem running on auto-pilot but if the client goes down for even an instant then he has to be there to manually bring them all back online I suspect. also the small chance that party has actually done something about all these accts. flint and others - when did these guys first start playing?? (showing up in your PT). Did they all show up at pretty much the same time? |

[/ QUOTE ] It's not a fair comparison, because the bots are not betting against the house, they are betting against other players. Thus, it is not in the houses interest to be over-zealous. Innocent people having accounts closed would be far more damaging to party than a few bots, so this will basically never be a problem. |

If you're not positive, you don't take their money, but you can still refuse business depending on how confident youare. |
