I think that might be me...well now I have extra incentive to win this game for POG.
Im only something like 1700 but I actually have a chance to play against an IM who wants to beat me. Im going to do MY BEST to beat curtains.

EDIT: I PROMISE NOT TO USE A PROGRAM.

Why do I have a feeling that the latest version of Fritz just got fired up.

Good thing we all get a vote in this game. My moves, once the opening is over, won't be found in any computer unless its defective.

lol damn my ignoring doesn't work if someone else quotes him. I don't really care if I beat you, I just wish you'd learn something before slandering other people's name for absolutely no reason.

What was especially stupid about the whole thing is that almost everyone knows that I rarely play MTTs.

Yeah, exd4. Thought about the e4 line, but the threat of nc3 + Bg5 isn't nice.

[/ QUOTE ]

That can be handled - we can play Bb4. But Qb3 after that isnt nice at all.

I think we should definitely play exd4.

d5 is super-standard here.

There's also moves like Be7 but that's really just delaying d5.

I really don't see any remotely sensible moves other than d5 and Be7. Chuckles I think you should probably just put the poll up with those two.
