This is the best poker on tv aside from High Stakes because it shows real poker, not final table high blind push and pray poker

From what I've read/heard of Gavin Smith on the circuit, his results and such, I really am surprised that he went broke on this hand. Seif smoothcalled twice on a no-draw board and you are still pushing on the river?

Yup - it kinda surprised me that Smith went broke here as well.

He still looks like a fat Juliette Lewis.

Oddly, I actually felt kinda bad for Funston (for like like half a second) when he busted out last night. But then again, his push there was pretty unneccesary, wasn't it? I didn't see the numbers, but it looked like he had a pretty big stack remaining and didn't need to push at that point.

I think Funston was at about 85k on that hand.
