until then,
so doug says 'THIS IS TECH YOU'RE TALKING ABOUT' a lot right, and he even says it to his parents so they know what he means (doug = tech) when doug's report card was sent home after his first year at duke, he didn't do so hot. not by asian standards anyway his mom looked down at the reported card, then looked at him, and said 'i thought this was tech we were talking about' |

All,
Binger, Nassif, and Goldberg tied at the bottom w/ 3M now. Can Binger survive his next all-in? So far QQ v. KK and AQ v. TT have kept him alive! |

[ QUOTE ]
GOLD ISN'T JUST THE COLOR OF, UM, GOLD When you have a third of the chips in play, you can afford to pony up antes for unseen hands when you’re away talking with your special friend Johnny Chan or if you just feel like strolling around the men’s bathroom for a breath of fresh air away from the poker table. Such is the life of Lucksack Of The Millennium (yes, I’m already calling it for the years 2001—3000) Jamie Gold who seems to miss almost as many hands as he plays. [/ QUOTE ] I guess "journalistic standards" is an evolving concept in the world of poker reporting. eastbay |

Super-passive play right now.
Doug Kim raises to $360,000. Erik Friberg calls from the big blind. The flop comes J [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]9 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]7 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. Friberg and Kim check. The turn is the 3 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. Both players check. The river is the 8 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. Friberg and Kim check again. Kim shows Q-J and Friberg shows A-high. Kim takes the pot. |

So one day I called him on something he didn't know. His reply was, "I got something caught in my thinker!" He also claimed he never slept. I imagine because he never remembered that part of the day. |

ok maybe this will assuage doug's anger after he reads this thread
so if you ever talk to him about the worst 'injustice' i committed, he will tell you this story.. we were in 10th grade i think in high school. there was this girl that he liked at our church. so of course, as all high schoolers do, we (because i was w/ him) sat in the row behind her, maybe 2-3 rows i don't remember (this is 7 years ago) now, the girl that happened to be sitting next to the girl that doug likes (let's call her.. x). so anyway the seat next to x opens up as a joke, i whisper to doug 'now's your chance!' unfortunately, i whisper really loudly. essentially i almost yelled the words and doug almost flipped out; his eyes went wide and i think he wanted to strangle me it was great. no, it didn't work out in the end |
