Blah my gf and parents want me to get a job for the summer but I really dont want (or need) to. Suggestions for easy part time job? [/ QUOTE ] Mowing lawns? If you like to drive, Car Jockey for a car rental company is good if you work for the right company (you won't know until you're working there, and it completely varies by location depending on management as with most low end service industry jobs). The downside is that it often pays like [censored] and you're often treated like [censored] particularly if you also work in the wash bay as a Service Attendant (in some places these are completely seperate jobs, in others they're one job). But if you get on at a good place that treats you well, it's a pretty fun job driving cars from location to location and picking up customers and driving them home. Even if you're also a Service Attendant, that part of the job is no big deal - washing and detailing cars. Good job overall if you like cars. But again, any "cleaning" related job can be really looked down upon and some places it's only populated by the dregs. There's also usually tons of turnover and it's usually easy to get a job. You just need a clean driving record. |

Tell them to suck it. [/ QUOTE ] Ask them why they want you to take a pay cut (vs playing poker all summer). You'll probly make more just in rakeback/FPP, let alone winnings ,than you would at some crappy minimum wage job. |

[/ QUOTE ] If you have a car you don't mind putting some miles on, I've heard pizza delivery is good if you're in the right area (ie: middle class suburban, not ghetto). Though with the price of gas it might suck now... |
