thanks for all the replies to my posts above. i agree completely with the general sentiment that just chilling and having a good time is the most important thing. i think only a few times out of a few hundred have i ever said that ill stay in to play poker than to meet up, probs when i used to try to satellite into tourneys. having said that, ive been on a 5 year bender now, and with only 3 months till i start a job paying $25/hr after tax, part of me thinks i should sacrafice a little just to help me get my own place. anyways, end of the day, in 100 years time (for me probably < 5 years) we'll all be 6 feet under so might as well have fun (except for cts who will still be alive having paid for a robotic body to keep him alive)

sir moonshine, ul, that must suck. why i stopped playing tourneys as when getting deep i always thought how amazing the 1st place money would be and what i could do with it, only to then come in 40th for a payout of $115 or something.
