47. ... Ke7 vote draw !? Vas o No Vas, NO VAS ! If he won't be a man, time to for us to crawl out of the cave... [/ QUOTE ] lol white obviously has no chance to win, you would have to play exceptionally terribly to lose. The good news is I think it's also true in reverse. |

47 ...d2
48 Be3...Nf3 49 B? whatever the 49 move for white, i thought we could move the pawn to draw the king away, then take out his pawns, perhaps including exchanging pieces |

Black could find himself in a position and have one brain fart and put the knight on a square like Nd1 oppsss, Bd4! I think white would have to make three brain farts to lose. However having said that if my life depended on a win, I'd prefer black. It's the power of the "fork" the other white meat.... |

OK, I voted for Ke7 which is really the same as Nd2 but only in reverse logic...
Ke7 It forces white to move and leaves our knight in place (for now) if white moves the bishop we can play Na5 and back to Nc6 (a good square) If Kc4 we check at Nd2 and if he continues to chase our knight at some point we'd get a free move and possibly move our king upwards to e6 or d6. However if 47. Bb6 Ke7 48. Kc4 Nd2 49. Kd5 Kd7 We'll reach the position as if we had played Nd2 It's all the same only different, with Ke7 we allow him to try and chase our horsey but horsey's run faster than Kings... |

Ok draw sounds fair! Any questions?
btw game was reasonably well played. Few days ago I ran it through Fritz and it seemed pretty normal. Of course you guys were all cheating with computers so that was to be expected from the black side, but I'm happy I managed to not blunder, although I admit I was perhaps close one or two times. |

Thanks for taking the time to do this. If you are ever up for a rematch I would be willing to set it up.
