I thought it was scary. It left almost everything to your imagination, which when well done can really zap you pretty hard. The ending was all about that, and I really liked it.

The mermaid walking on knives? That sounds cool. I've read a ton of fairy tales(I've got several big collections), but don't remember that one. Do you remember the name of that story?

Can't remember the details (except for the actual movie) so not sure why she would let a little kid watch it. Babysitter was also really hot IIRC. Movie really scared the f'in bejeezus out of me and werewolves still bug me out today. Thankfully I have no negative associations with hot chicks from this experience. -Al

I wasn't Outbreak, but some book with a really vivid description of leprosy. I remember it because I thought I had it and my dad just told me to "walk it off." [img]/images/graemlins/tongue.gif[/img]
