wish he had hit his straight or flush [/ QUOTE ] Yeah...I've been crushed thrice when I had the A-high flush and villians had SF. Hopefully one day I'll be on the other end! |

[/ QUOTE ] UMM what's the point of C/r that flop he can't suck me out*, I have the straight flush here, C/r the turn gets more from it and gives him a chance to catch something on the turn. The reason we don't C/r the river is because if he is on a draw he will pay that turn raise to see the river but if he's C/r on the river and has nothing we miss that extra big bet, since he is no longer drawing. And if he wiffs the turn and rive completely he may check behind on the river and we get no C/r. So the turn it is cause the turn it must be. Dang it I just put reasonable content in the NC thread, I suck at posting * The only real suckout that can happen is if he has specifically AKQ or J of [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] and the other 2 of those 4 cards come on the turn and river. |

1/2 I lose a big pot with 9's full of aces to a guy with K9 for quads.
Wahhhhh. Good news is after betting it down and being bet into on the river I had the good sense not to raise on the 99A92 board with my AK. Only hand that he bets into me on the river with here is an ace or a 9. An ace is split pot so raise isn't necessary, and if he's got a 9, I get 3-bet and lose even more money. Wahhh. Since moving up to 1/2 I've taken some big losses in large pots with huge hands. Somehow I'm only down 23 BB's after ~1000 hands. |
