[ QUOTE ] If Alaei gets chips he's gonna be trouble...but man I don't really like a limp reraise all in from the button with A5o. [/ QUOTE ] I think Alaei has a fairly tight image so he figures to get a lot of FE out of a limp-reraise. [/ QUOTE ] If so that was a pretty bad read given he got called by ATo. |

[ QUOTE ] Featured Table - Christian Togsverd Eliminated in 33rd Place ($285,678) Featured Table Hand #4 - Jon Kalmar has the button in seat 3, Kenny Tran raises from early position to 180,000, Tuan Lam calls from middle position, Stefan Mattson calls from the small blind, Christian Togsverd moves all in from the big blind for about 1.8 million, Tran folds, and Lam thinks for a few minutes before he calls. Mattson quickly folds. Togsverd shows {A-Diamonds}{J-Spades}, and Lam shows {Q-Clubs}{Q-Spades}. Togsverd needs to improve to survive. The flop comes {Q-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}, and Lam flops a set of queens to take a dominant lead in the hand. Togsverd needs something runner-runner to survive. The turn card is the {4-Spades}, and Togsverd is drawing dead. (The meaningless river card is the {J-Diamonds}.) Lam wins the pot with his set of queens. Christian Togsverd is eliminated in 33rd place, earning $285,678. [/ QUOTE ] 30BBs preflop with AJo? [/ QUOTE ] Squeeze play? |

Scotty Nguyen Color Blind? Scotty Nguyen had a problem with putting the wrong color chip out for his blig blind. There are three denominations of chips and they're all a varation of orange. The 5,000 chips are orange or tangerine as one staff member called it. The 25,000 chips are peach-colored. The 50,000 are salmon-colored. Depending on the lighting in the Amazon Ballroom and underneath the lights of the ESPN feature table, both players and dealers are having a difficult time figuring out what chips are in play. As one player said, he had to physically look at the numbers on the chips to determine what he's betting. Since all the chips are very similar to each other, action has slowed down while players make extra precautions before betting. Dealers are also having a tougher time counting down stacks and bets. [/ QUOTE ] lol @ Harrah's thinking ahead. |
