I had someone try to tell me that congratulations was spelled with a D. They were like "LOL YOU'RE RETARDED, LEARN HOW TO SPELL!" haha..irony is fun. [/ QUOTE ] Really ironic would have been: "LOL YOUR RETARDED, LEARN HOW TO SPELL!" or maybe that would be real ironic |

Ummm. somewhat unqualified to reply to this because I don't capitalize/spell/punctuate well, but somehow some grammer errors piss me off. So, somewhat hypocritically:
Anytime anyone uses a meaningless stock phrase over and over. I have a coworker who says "Not for nothing" literally 100 times a day. (See i even managed to use literally properly!- Maybe I am qualified to post on this topic). Really, 100 times. Not for Nothing, but I find this annoying. Even worse- people aren't 'in line' anymore, now every is Online. When did this happen? Like I'm standing literally (!) in a line at Barnes and Nobles to buy Strunk and White and the cashier says "Next person Online, please step up" and I wonder if that's me. Because I am the next person in line, whether or not I'm taking advantage of B&N's wireless internet access. Ya heard? But this has become so prevalant I'm no longer even sure that I'm correct-- is it in line, or was it ever, or is it now and always has been on line? |

Some people say "raise" instead of "fold" in places where it's not warranted. That really pisses me off.
