Gaa! No more slowplay for me!!

Hand 1: Villain was solid TAG. I like checking the turn in these situations (too fancy?) when their overpair/missed overs has indicated they're ready to give up on the hand because they're a lot more likely to bet or call on the river if I check it through. Obviously giving a free card here was terrible.

Hand 2: I couldn't figure out what CO (TAG stats) was up to with the weak bets and I was worried I was up against set over set. Turns out, he's just an idiot. And I am one too for playing this like [censored].

I'm -50BB with sets so far today (see suckout above for more)!

LIVE game trip report

I played at the local casino yesterday and today in 2-5 blind 300max NL game. Not much exciting during todays session but yesterday was a different story.

They start up a new table and 2nd hand in I'm in the BB with KK. I raise to 30 w/ 2 limpers get 2 callers. Flop K62 rainbow. It checks around. Turn J I bet and they fold.

Very next hand Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]3[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] in SB w/ UTG limper I usually fold this but figure what the hell I'm playing live I might as well donk it up. Flop Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. BB is a good regular in the game. He won't felt a worse hand on this flop. I check he bets 15 UTG folds I call with the intention of leading any turn card. Turn Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] A nice card and all but I figure I'll have trouble getting action. I donk bet 30 figuring it will be tough for him to give me credit for a Q. He messes with his chips as if he is going to raise and then simply calls. River 3 for some super full house or something. I lead for 80 knowing he can't fold 66-TT at this point and I don't want him to check it down. He thinks for like 1 second and then shoves his entire stack in (about 200 on top) I instacall and show my cards. He mucks. He's a nice enough guy and I didn't want to wait for him to show his cards before showing quads. The look on his face was priceless. He was in stunned disbelieve. ZEEBO ZEEBO ZEEBO

Later I limped a KQ.... flop KKQ. Guy bets like 50 into a 35 pot. I read him for a King and don't see much reason to mess around. I make it 125 and he shoves his 400 stack in my face. He shows K7...... this hand was described as a "cooler" at my table. Are you kidding me. I of course agree, "yeah not anything you can do there." Live players are soooo bad on average.

I flopped a 2nd nut straight from the SB w/ T6 on a 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] I made a check raise to 225 (stack of 750) after a 20 bet, call (from big stack), raise to 75 from a 500 stack, call from shortie. 2 short stack donkeys couldn't fold 2 pair 97 or a gutshot QJ. The 500 stack folded his 98 which ended up working out very well for me considering the turn was an 8. The big stack at the table told me I was lucky I didn't run into TJ there. I really didn't think anybody had it. I asked him how he would of played it. "I would of raised to 125 or so to see where I was at." Idiot.

I misplayed a QQ hand and made a bad bluff in another hand, but I ended up 1200 on the day.

Today I couldn't get much going and lost back 380 of it. Still a nice 2 days of poker.

It seems like the live games are getting back to where they were a year ago or so. Perhaps all of the online problems are getting more people into the live games. I saw people stacking off TP or an overpair today like it was nothing.

500 stack raises to 30 gets called in a few spots. Flop KJJ, he checks button (covers) bets 25 everybody folds back to him he makes it 50. Button insta shoves all-in. Guy couldn't fold AK. Unbelievable. Button shows TJ offsuit for a big pot.

YEAH, first time I really used PT and PAHUD to bust a fish (Loose agressive, but the bad kind of loose agressive. you know the kind that wants to get his stack in the pot as soon as possible with top pair no kicker)

He doubled up very quickly and he had +-60 VPIP after 100hands. I hit him 3 times and got it all from him
(50NL btw)
I wont post the hands, they were pretty standard. once set vs queens and second time AK vs A2)

How do I get hands in PTs replayer to not go backward? There has to be a way, just been ages since i've used that feature...

On the session you want to look at, click the game# column

this toggles sort ascending and descending

then replay
