I agree that LHE is a much better "action game". OTOH, you can play uber-LAG profitably at NL, so that should curb the ADD

NL sucks ass to actually play, you NEVER have the best hand EVER, and if you do, play it super weak and win money.

Without A+ read, uber-LAG is uber-broke in NL.

in may i decided to put all my effort and attention into learning NL. no LHE on the side. only NLHE. best decision i ever made. NL is a much tougher game in general, but it's more fun and it takes way less skill ot make the same amount of money

BK, stick to limit. I play some NL every now and again and it is pretty profitable, but it is so God-aweful boring to me. I know many LHE regulars feel the same way.

I also like the idea of a bad hand only taking a few extra BBs off me instead of a whole buy-in.

as someone who has played a ton of both, i disagree. i did feel the same way before i actually learned how to play good NL

I don't disagree at all. I've come to find out most of BBVs posters are strictly NL players and frown upon LHE. I however, need more "action" to keep my attention. If I am getting bored, I don't put in nearly the amount of hours I need to, to make anything substantial.

You're probably right. I'm trying to mix up some NL with my LHE. Maybe I'll grow to enjoy it more.

EDIT: Getting Joshes confused again. Sorry. On that note, whatever happened to 1500 BB limit downswing Josh from like 8 months ago? Back when we used to have serious discussions in BBV about variance. Anyone know what happened to him?

What happened to Josh? Was he gone for awhile? (Excuse the question as I have just begun posting in BBV 1 week ago).
