I just checked yesterday and it seems they now have a lot more players than before. Last night they had 10 or so 2/4 tables going, it used to be no more than 4-5 if I recall correctly.

I wish I would have read all this before last night. I just signed up but haven't played yet. I wish BW would have mentioned this in their little blurb. Actually yesterday I did a search of 2+2 but I spelled it POKEROOM instead of POKERROOM. Oh well. I guess I need to get my deposit back.

What about the SnG's? Can you clear the bonus that way?

Yes.

And these people are blowing the changes way out of proportion. If you look at it reasonably, it's not as big a deal as they make it out to be.

I had always considered opening an account there but will not now.

They have the right to raise their rake and we have the right to no longer play there.

When a company does something you disagree with you simply take your business elsewhere.

Actually it is the most active poker room on the web where you can get rakeback without breaking the T&C, so if you sign up with RB your rake will be lower than any of the sites mentioned in this thread.

I just put together a spreadsheet of seven of the biggest sites, and while Poker Room certainly sucks for rake at $2-4, they aren't much worse than Party. The main problem is in the 6-8 BB range where so many pots fall. If only we could count on those nice 10BB pots or were consistently playing for pots under 6BB, it might be different. Oh, the price we pay for fishy games. If anyone is good at using Excel to make graphs and wants to use this spreadsheet so they don't have to search every website's rake schedule, PM me.

By the way Poker Room, if you ever want my business, you'll need to change your rake schedule as specified above.
