I'll be pretty effin' bummed if we get lower than the 2nd pick. I think if we do we either need to trade it and go for it or shop Pierce hard, even though I reeeeally want him to retire in green.

With our luck, it won't have any meaning after this day either.

Pierce got stabbed in Boston and stuck with the team. He's a C for life as far as I'm concerned.

yo,

all celtics fans must read this article. have to admit it alarms me a little.

the idea of trading big al and our draft pick for ANYONE (even lebron) is a complete joke.

You mean you think he'll stay a Celtic or you'd support him even if he moves on to greener passages (no pun intended)?

I think Pierce is really conflicted. It's clear he cares about his legacy. That's a major part of him still being with the Celtics. That's why he signed the extension. He's a great player, and he wants to be the guy who returns the Celtics to greatness. He wants 34 up in the rafters. He wants people, 20 years from now, to look back at the Celtics and talk about how Pierce saved them from the post-Bird era.

On the other hand, you've got what's in that article. He's a hell of a ball player, but he's not nationally recognized like some of his peers. He's losing endorsement money, and he's sick and tired of losing year in and year out.

How beautiful is the passing between Perk and Big Al?

They are best friends and really meshing well together on the court. They outplay the opposing bigs every single night.

1. Trade the pick for Gerald Wallace.
2. Start Rondo-Pierce-Wallace-Jefferson-Perkins
3. ????
4. Profit

I'd like Perk way more as a sub getting 20-25 minutes a game.

Change your Loc. Add a NOT in front of it.

I'm really torn on what to do with the draft if we don't get a top 2 pick. I listened to the Sports Guy on Chad Ford's podcast this morning. He said if they miss out on a top 2 pick they should trade Pierce and build around Al. There's some merit to that.

I like Gerald Wallace a lot, but I think we need someone a rung better to "profit."

I just don't want to ever see Delonte West guarding T-Mac, Vince, or Joe Johnson again. Gerald Wallace would be perfect. Guy has no ego, too.

I really have 100 percent trust in Ainge, and I will like any move he does. (Unless it involves trading Al Jefferson)

In theory we have Tony Allen to cover the TMacs of the world.
