Kid has offered me Marc Bulger and Julius Jones for Chester Taylor.

QBs: Matt Hasselbeck and David Carr
RBs: LT, Taylor, Cadillac and DeAngelo Williams.

Start 2 QBs and 2 RBs.

[/ QUOTE ]

I don't like it. I think Hasselbeck > Bulger, so you aren't really picking up an upgrade at QB. I also don't think JJ is an upgrade over Taylor. Barber will still steal some touches, and CT is the man in MIN. I don't see this improving your week-in, week-out roster. I CERTAINLY wouldn't do it this week with DAL on bye.

I was just offered Eli Manning and Reggie Bush for Rudi Johnson. I have Gore, so I'm pretty deep at back. Standard yahoo! scoring.

Keep in mind it's not Hasselbeck >? Bulger but Carr >? Bulger, and I also have both Williams' to choose from as RBs. (I would probably drop Carr IF I made the trade.)

Well, my thought is that Taylor is a weekly play for you right now, at least until Cadillac regains form/DeAngelo takes over the starting job. I don't like trading away a weekly play to improve my backup. Carr has been a quite serviceable fantasy backup thus far.

Well I'm starting Carr, I just don't have a backup right now.

That being said, I do think I agree with you, which is why I haven't, and probably won't, pull the trigger.

Running backs: McGahee, Jordan, Gore, and the backups of LT, LJ, and Alexander

Recievers: Muhammad, Fitzgerald, Drew Bennett, Cotchery, T Williamson

Guy is offering me Maurice Hicks(Gore's backup) for one of my recievers (not counting Fitzgerald). Do I do this since Gore has a history of inuries and Jordan has been(and probably will continue to be)crap? My only other RB's are insurance against injuries of the big 3.

Also in another league... I'm being offered Boldin for T.O.

Thoughts?

In that league, my qb is Warner... and I'm not subscriber to the "double up" theory. I'm not hurting too bad at reciever without T.O. and reports are saying he may not miss much more than a week after the bye. The upside with T.O. is riskier than a constant performer like Boldin, but I think I'm gonna go the risky route. Some I've talked to agree with me, and others are in line with you Xorb. I'm gonna gamble, I think.

The other situation I agree with you...
