keep your chin up; well-played. phil gordon on ESPN called you the player of the round the first round
nobody said anything negative about the final play; virtually nothing you could've done cheers |

Press conference just ended. Doug handled himself very well, had some very good answers to the unoriginal questions, and seemed pleased with how he did. Stark contrast to Friberg who looked like he wanted to get out of there as soon as possible.
I raised my hand to ask a question (actually about the poker that was played, not "OMG! You're so young!"), but never got called on. Doug, I might have to PM you. Good job. I was in the media, yes, but I was rooting for you. |

Great job Doug....nice interview with sirious afterwards...nice to see that the money isn't going to make you a 'pro' and give up on your other pursuits

[ QUOTE ] Hard to imagine a more appropriate jersey for the final table than Rivera's. Bust 'em up. [/ QUOTE ] Except the White Sox busted him up last night! And tech, what limits will you be playing when you make your glorious return? [/ QUOTE ] you hsnl won't lick your chops...i'm not playing any higher than 5/10...i'm a nit |

thanks for all the support...again i will not be going pro, i feel i have more of an opportunity in the job i will be taking so i feel like it'd be foolish to pass that up, especially since i haven't won 12m.
fortunately i didn't wear rivera's jersey when mo blew the save on a whim, so i thought it was good to go for today. |

Doug, what did you have in the hand where you reraised to 2.1m, and Wasicka moved all-in to 4.8m, and what did you put him on? You seemed sick about making that laydown.
