Did anybody see that kid fold JJ preflop to a simple raise with a top 5 chip stack? And the raise was from his buddy who he works with?

Sketchyyyy

[/ QUOTE ]

I think Capo just knew his friend was really tight, so he respected the raise - no need to go crazy trying to win the tournament right there.

Wait until later in the tournament - things get nuts.

What is correct, and how are the announcers saying it?

[/ QUOTE ]
The "D" should not be pronounced separately.

[/ QUOTE ]

Then shouldn't he drop the apostrophe?

Who knows?

I tuned in the other night to watch a SCHEDULED 2005 USPC telecast and there was a college world series game on. What steamed me more (other than it was falsely scheduled on my Cox TV Guide) was that the baseball game was a dud. It was in the 8th inning (I can't recall the teams) and the one team was winning 11-0. I hate it when ESPN does that to a poker tournament. It just isn't right *snifF*

WTF is with this:

Board 4 4 8

Mark Seif 44
Other guy KK

Checkmark next to Mark Seif's 44 and both announcers say that the other guy is drawing completely dead without ever showing another King out of even talking about one.

Runner Runner KK for quad kings doesn't beat quad fours eh?

They showed someone mucking KJo preflop. IE, no running kings available.

yes but runner runner king, king, is like a 1-2% chance.
The other guy was none other than Gavin Smith dressed up as Bo Derek....
